Tim has worked through a range of different media to concentrate on etching and ceramics for the last twenty years.
Most of his etchings are inspired by the local landscape details of Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire, but some are derived from more exotic locations.

The tonal qualities of Soft Ground and Aquatint techniques are well suited to creating images with texture and subtlety. Exploring different colour ways can create just the right atmosphere for the subject.  Patterns created in the landscape, whether historical or contemporary, often feature in his work.

Tim was a founder member of Milton Keynes Printmakers group, and is currently a member of Bath Artist Printmakers, who exhibit together.

Ceramics are generally wheel thrown stoneware domestic pots, but include some hand made garden pieces and slab built sculptures. Tim has developed a series of rich and subtle glaze combinations that suit the pot's form. The inspiratrion for the house sculptures are derived from many countries, but not least from the oddities of stone terraces of Frome.
